Fall always feels like a reset to me.
Summer is over, the kids are back into their routines, the holidays are around the corner, and somehow we're already looking at the last few months of the year.
This is also usually the time when it's really easy to say:
“I'll start in January.”
But why?
Why do we need to wait until January 1st to start taking better care of ourselves?
That's why, starting October 1st, we're doing something new at LYVLI.
Welcome to Fittest for Fall—a simple 12-week wellness challenge focused on getting stronger, moving more, eating more intentionally, drinking your water, and creating habits you can actually continue after the challenge is over.
And before you start thinking this is another crazy weight-loss challenge...
It's not.
We're not living at the gym.
We're not starving ourselves.
We're not cutting out every food we enjoy.
And we're definitely not trying to completely change our lives overnight.
We're doing this the LYVLI way.
Small changes. Simple habits. Consistency over perfection.
What Is Fittest for Fall?
Fittest for Fall is a 12-week challenge beginning October 1st.
For the next three months, we're going to focus on five simple areas:
MOVE. WALK. HYDRATE. NOURISH. RESET.
And there's one rule that ties all of them together:
SHOW UP.
You aren't going to do everything perfectly for 12 weeks.
Neither am I.
There will be busy days. Holidays. Dinners out. Days when you don't feel like exercising. Days when your perfectly planned dinner turns into whatever you can throw together in ten minutes.
That's life.
Fittest for Fall isn't about creating a routine that only works when everything goes perfectly.
We're trying to create one that works in real life.
MOVE: 3 Strength Workouts Per Week
You do NOT need to become a gym person.
I really want to emphasize this because I think fitness has become unnecessarily intimidating.
You don't need a two-hour workout.
You don't need to exercise seven days a week.
You don't need the fanciest gym membership.
Our goal for Fittest for Fall is:
3 strength-focused workouts per week.
We'll be providing simple workouts throughout the challenge that can be modified depending on your current fitness level.
And over the 12 weeks, we'll gradually progress.
Maybe you add another repetition.
Maybe you use a slightly heavier weight.
Maybe something that felt really hard during Week 1 suddenly feels surprisingly easy during Week 8.
That's what I want us to pay attention to.
We're getting stronger.
WALK: Everyday Movement Counts
This is probably one of my favorite parts of the challenge because I LOVE walking.
Walk around your neighborhood.
Walk while your kids are at soccer or dance.
Take a ten-minute walk after dinner.
Walk while you're talking on the phone.
Park a little farther away.
Put on a podcast and get outside.
Not every bit of movement needs to be an official “workout” to count.
The goal is simply to move more than you currently do.
HYDRATE: Start With 42 oz
We're keeping this one ridiculously simple.
Our Fittest for Fall baseline challenge is:
Finish at least 42 oz of water every day.
That's it.
You may personally need more fluid than that—and other beverages and water-rich foods also contribute to hydration—but we're using 32 oz as an easy daily challenge to help build the habit.
Fill your bottle.
Keep it near you.
Drink it.
Repeat tomorrow.
We don't need to make everything complicated.
NOURISH: Protein First
We're also going to spend the next 12 weeks becoming more intentional about what we're eating.
But I don't want Fittest for Fall to turn into another list of foods you're not allowed to have.
Instead, we're going to think:
Protein first. Plants often. Carbs intentionally.
We'll be sharing easy, protein-forward and lower-carb meal ideas throughout the challenge that still taste GOOD.
Think chicken taco bowls.
Burger bowls.
Egg roll bowls.
Protein-packed “girl dinners.”
Simple meals that don't require you to spend your entire Sunday meal-prepping 27 identical plastic containers.
Food is supposed to be enjoyable.
We're simply learning how to make choices that better support what we're trying to accomplish.
RESET: Become More Intentional About When You Eat
We're also going to experiment with something I think can be incredibly helpful:
Giving the kitchen a closing time.
For some people, this may naturally create a gentle overnight eating window—such as roughly 12 hours between dinner and breakfast.
This isn't about starving yourself.
And we're definitely not going to compete over who can go the longest without eating.
It's simply about becoming aware of how often we eat because we're genuinely hungry versus eating because we're bored, watching TV, walking through the kitchen, or simply accustomed to snacking at a certain time.
If you're hungry, eat.
But we're going to start paying attention.
Intermittent fasting isn't appropriate for everyone, so anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding, has a history of disordered eating, takes medications affected by meal timing, or has a medical condition affected by fasting should talk with an appropriate healthcare professional before trying it.
Where Does Collagenic™ Burn Fit In?
Throughout the challenge, you'll also hear me talk about Collagenic™ Burn, one of our LYVLI Select products.
Collagenic™ Burn combines collagen with a thermogenic-focused formula in a convenient capsule.
But I want to make something very clear from the beginning:
The capsules aren't the challenge. YOU are doing the work.
No supplement replaces movement, nutritious food, hydration, sleep, or consistency.
Collagenic™ Burn is simply one product you can choose to incorporate into your Fittest for Fall routine according to its directions.
We'll be breaking down the formula and talking more about it throughout the 12 weeks.
Month One: BUILD
During Weeks 1–4, we're establishing our habits.
Don't worry about going harder.
Get consistent.
Learn the workouts.
Start drinking your water.
Move more.
Start thinking about protein when you're planning your meals.
Create your evening routine.
The goal of Month One is simply:
“I can do this.”
Month Two: STRENGTHEN
During Weeks 5–8, we're going to build on what we've already started.
Our workouts will progress.
We'll continue adding simple recipes.
We'll work on everyday movement.
We'll talk about strength, nutrition, motivation, and how to recognize progress that has absolutely nothing to do with a number on a scale.
By this point, I hope you start thinking:
“Wait...I'm actually getting stronger.”
Month Three: FINISH STRONG
Weeks 9–12 are where things get interesting.
Because the excitement of starting something new has worn off.
This is where we're going to learn the difference between motivation and consistency.
We're going to keep showing up.
And at the end of the 12 weeks, I don't want you thinking:
Thank goodness that's over.
I want you to think:
“This is just what I do now.”
Before You Start, Do This
Sometime before your first full week, take ten minutes for yourself.
Take a starting photo if you're comfortable.
Record your weight or measurements if those are metrics you want to follow.
But also write down things the scale can't measure.
How many squats can you comfortably do?
What weights are you using?
How long can you walk before you feel tired?
How do your clothes feel?
How consistent is your current routine?
And most importantly:
WHY are you doing this?
Try not to stop at:
“I want to lose weight.”
Why?
Do you want to feel stronger?
Feel more confident in your clothes?
Have more energy for everyday life?
Build muscle?
Get back into a routine?
Prove to yourself that you can prioritize yourself for 12 weeks?
Write it down.
Because there may be a point around Week 7 when you're not nearly as excited as you were on October 1st.
That's when your WHY matters.

Don't Wait for January
We have three months left in this year.
Imagine walking into January having already spent 12 weeks taking care of yourself.
Not because you starved yourself.
Not because you spent hours at the gym.
Not because you followed some impossible diet.
But because you made a handful of little choices over and over again.
That's what this challenge is really about.
And honestly?
That's what Living LYVLI is about, too.
Taking the life you already have and finding little ways to feel stronger, healthier, happier, and more alive inside of it.
We're not waiting for January.
We start on October 1st. 🍂
12 Weeks. Simple Habits. A Stronger You.
Welcome to Fittest for Fall.
Live a life you love. Live LYVLI.
