Summer break sounds relaxing… until you’re the mom in charge of making the magic happen.
Suddenly you become the snack maker, sunscreen applier, pool bag packer, popsicle finder, road trip planner, referee, ride coordinator, and somehow still the person expected to keep the house functioning like normal.
And honestly? It’s kind of a blast.
There’s something special about summer with your kids. The random ice cream runs. The late-night swims. The “can we go to the park?” moments that somehow turn into a 3-hour adventure. The memories. The chaos. The constant movement.
As moms, we become the official fun makers of the household during summer.
But if we’re being real for a second… it’s also exhausting.
